Whether you were watching for the game, for Rihanna, or not watching at all, you probably heard about the 57th annual Super Bowl that took place on February 12th in Glendale, Arizona.
This year, the event drew in over 113 million viewers. The Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles at 6:30 pm EST. Neither team went down without a fight, and the game ended with just a field goal separating them, for a final score of 38-35, with the Chiefs emerging victorious, achieving the title of the “best team in the league.”
Winning the game while playing with a sprained ankle, Chief’s quarterback Patrick Mahomes won MVP. The Kelce brothers made history this year after Travis Kelce from the Chiefs played against his older brother Jason Kelce of the Eagles, making the pair the first brothers in 57 years to play each other in the Super Bowl final. Their poor mom!
Rihanna also stunned viewers everywhere, first with her over-the-top performance and second when she revealed that she was pregnant with her second child during her incredible halftime show. The Super Bowl this year was indeed one to remember!
